Ashraf El Sabbagh: Graduated from the Faculty of Commerce, Alexandria University as a Chartered Accountant. Following that, he obtained a Marine Insurance Diploma and a Diploma in Economics of Marine Transport from the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport. Subsequently, he attended various marine insurance courses and seminars over the years with Richard Hoggs Lindely, various P & I clubs, BIMCO and Lloyds. He has acquired over 30 years of experience in claims handling, claims adjusting & insurance. He is considered to be the leading Egyptian broker & marine consultant by most Egyptian ship owners and the current chairman of MESCO.

Alaa El Sabbagh: Graduated from Richmond University in London 2009, obtaining a degree in International Business. As a fresh graduate, he joined MESCO in 2010 along with taking the North of England P&I course; with his rapid business skills, he has evolved to become an extremely experienced with over 12 years of experience.

Seif El Sabbagh: Graduated from the American University in Cairo in 2013, obtaining a degree in Accounting. After joining MESCO, he took part in the North of England P&I Course and RaetsMarine Insurance & Shipping Course in 2014, as well as the Marsh Marine Insurance Course in 2017. He has handled all types of claims since joining, and has evolved to become an experienced claims handler.

Rehab Farouk: Graduated from the faculty of Tourism and Hotel Management, University of Alexandria. She has worked as an executive secretary in one of the leading petroleum firms in Egypt. After completing a P&I course and a Maritime course in the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport, she joined MESCO in 2001. With her expertise in the field, she has become an experienced claims handler, with expertise in the handling of Injury and Repatriation Claims. She has established an extensive network of Hospitals and Medical Consultants to be available 24/7 if the need arises.

Eman Ezzo: Graduated from the Faculty of Arts, Greek Roman Archaeology (University of Alexandria). Entered the Marine Insurance industry in 2001, after joining MESCO as an Executive Secretary. Following a number of Insurance/Maritime courses in the Arab Academy for Science & Technology, she had started to handle all marine insurance matter.

MESCO Legal Department

Tarek Mady: is a qualified Lawyer licensed before the Egyptian High Court of Cassation / Constitution; he worked for eighteen years in M. Megahed Law firm (one of the well-known Marine Law Firms/P&I Correspondents) before joining MESCO. Along with his 26 years of experience, he now manages MESCO in-house Legal Department and deals with all legal aspects of P&I Claims. Having graduated with a law degree from Alexandria University, he served as a Military Prosecutor at the Navy, during that time he obtained his Master’s degree in Shipping Law from the Arab Academy for Maritime Transport. Tarek Mady worked as a legal advisor and consultant for one of the largest Saudi Arabian shipping companies, whilst being engaged with a renowned Law Firm in Doha, Qatar.

Moustafa Younes: Graduated in Law from the University of El Menoufia, El Sadat Branch Faculty of Law, before obtaining a Maritime Law diploma at the Arab Academy for Science Technology and Maritime Transport. Moustafa worked at Megahed Law Office (one of the well-known Marine Law Firms to major P&I Correspondents) before joining MESCO in 2007, following he joined the Legal Department as a lawyer in 2013. Moustafa specializes in all types of marine litigation, including disputes arising under charter parties, bill of lading disputes, P&I and Defense work, disputes arising under ship management contracts, cargo claims, ship arrests and freezing orders, ship groundings, disputes involving collapsed stows and total losses, deals with non-contentious contract work and also acted in many substantial safe port cases, He has also acted marine insurance, and maritime arbitration, acts principally for ship owners, charterers, P&I Clubs and other insurers, ship operators, ship managers, commodity traders, ship suppliers and resolution of disputes through mediation, Moustafa has extensive experience of maritime law and he qualified as a Lawyer Licensed before Courts of Appeal.

Galal Ashraf: Joined in 2019. Graduated in Law from the University of Alexandria English section, before obtaining a Maritime Law Master at the Arab Academy for Science Technology and Maritime Transport, preparing for PHD. Became a member of the Legal Department of MESCO in 2019 as a Senior Lawyer successfully resolving maritime disputes, reviewing contracts, and providing legal opinions in various areas.

Mostafa Kamel: Joined in 2020. Worked in all types of marine claims Represented clients (P&I Clubs and Members) in different types of cases before different courts in Egypt. With his legality knowledge and experience, he is a conscientious, responsible individual who possesses solid people skills and can attend all sessions and work that require effort and work that require documentation. Possess an ability to function effectively both independently or as an integral part of a team, and a capacity for integrating new ideas and concepts. He is a Member of the Bar Association from 2020, as a Primary Lawyer.

Port Said Office

Magdy Takla: Graduated from the faculty of Commerce in Ain Shams University, Cairo, and started his career working in a P&I Correspondents office as claim handler for 13 years. Later joined a Shipping Agency as an operation Manager 3 years, then General Manager for 6 years. He attended to North of England P&I Association residential training course in P&I Insurance and Loss Prevention, to then join MESCO as the General Manager of the Port Said Branch Office from 2007, handling all manner of claims in the ports of Damietta, Port Said, Suez Canal, Suez and the Red Sea.
