Ashraf El Sabbagh: Graduated from the Faculty of Commerce, Alexandria University as a Chartered Accountant. Following that, he obtained a Marine Insurance Diploma and a Diploma in Economics of Marine Transport from the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport. Subsequently, he attended various marine insurance courses and seminars over the years with Richard Hoggs Lindely, various P & I clubs, BIMCO and Lloyds.
He has acquired over 30 years of experience in claims handling, claims adjusting & insurance. Mr. Ashraf is considered to be the leading Egyptian broker & marine consultant by most Egyptian ship owners and the current chairman of the Middle East Survey & Control Office, (MESCO.)
Ibrahim Hamza graduated from the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport obtaining a Bachelors degree in Marketing and Business Administration, following that, he achieved a diploma in Logistics. He started his career in the chartering department in one of the leading Egyptian shipping companies, later to merge with another Egyptian shipping company where he worked in the claims and insurance department. With his experienced background in the marine business, he has joined MESCO in 2005 to become a claims handler till present day.
Alaa El Sabbagh graduated from Richmond University in London 2009, obtaining a degree in International Business. As a fresh graduate, he joined MESCO in 2010 along with haven taken the North of England P&I course; with his rapid business skills, he has evolved to become a claims handler after only two years in the industry.
Rehab Farouk graduated from the faculty of Tourism and Hotel Management, University of Alexandria, alongside worked as the executive secretary in one of the leading petroleum firms in Egypt. After completing a P&I course and a Maritime course in the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport she joined MESCO in 2001. With her expertise in the field, she has become the medical claims handler till present day.
Tarek Mady is a qualified Lawyer licensed before the Egyptian High Court of Cassation / Constitution; he worked for eighteen years in M. Megahed Law firm (one of the majority of well known Marine Law Firms/ P&I Correspondents) before joining MESCO. Along with his 26 years of experience, he now manages the MESCO Legal Department and deals with all aspects of P&I Claims. Having graduated with a law degree from Alexandria University, he served as Military Prosecutor at the Navy, during that time he had obtained his Master degree in Shipping Law from Arab Academy for Maritime Transport. Tarek Mady worked as a legal advisor and consultant for one of largest Saudi Arabian shipping companies, whilst being engaged with a renowned Law Firm in Doha, Qatar.
Ahmed Fawzy joined MESCO in 2007 after having worked for Maritime Lawyers M.Megahed, where he was involved in a wide range of P&I related work. Ahmed has a Master degree in Maritime Law and qualified as a Lawyer Licensed before the Egyptian High Court of Appeal.
Mahmoud A. Hafez graduated from Alexandria Law University, following that he joined MESCO and commenced his practical career as a marine Surveyor. He then transferred to MESCO Legal Department where he deals with all aspects of P&I claims, Mahmoud is a qualified Lawyer licensed before Egyptian Courts of First Instance.
Mostafa Abo Baker joined MESCO in 2011 after graduating from Alexandria Law University he gained working experience with Marine Litigation in one of the largest Marine Insurance Law Firm of Dr. Salah El Moukadem.
Magdy Takla graduated from the faculty of Commerce in Ain Shams University, Cairo, and started his career working in a P&I Correspondents office as claim handler for 13 years. Later to join a Shipping Agency as operation Manager 3 years, then General Manager for 6 years. He attended to the North of England P&I Association residential training course in P&I Insurance and Loss Prevention, to then join MESCO as a General Manager of the Port Said branch from 2007, handling cases of Damietta, Port Said, Suez Canal, Suez and Red Sea.
Mena Sobhy graduated from the faculty of Commerce, Suez Canal University – Port Said. She then started working in Shipping Agency for 5 years in the Shipping Departments, to then join MESCO in 2008.
Michael Magdy graduated from the faculty of Tourism and Hotel Management University in Ismailia and joined MESCO in 2008.
Caroline Philip graduated from Sadad Academy, Port Said from the Management Science Banking Department and joined MESCO in 2010.
